The device has an electrical drive machine (3) with a rotor (4), rotor shaft (9) and stator and a coaxial connected mechanical revolution rate/torque converter (6) with at least one planetary wheel set (7). The sun wheel (7.1) is mounted on the rotor shaft, which has a fixed bearing (11) on its end remote from the converter and a second bearing at the driven end formed by the planetary wheels (7.3) of the planetary wheel set. A bridge (7.4) in the planetary wheel set is supported at least indirectly on a fixed housing part (12) by a third bearing arrangement (33).
