Convertible vehicle provided with a folding up roof

The convertible car has a folding roof with at least one rear tension bracket (4). The opening movement of the roof incorporates a combined lifting-pivot movement (13) of the bracket. The roof has two mainly triangular brackets, which are connected by a transverse brace (9) and enclose a rear window (6). When the roof is closed, the brace is located below the plane of a cover for the roof.
