Locking device
DRIVE
June 27, 2001
The invention relates to a locking device with at least one locking element (6) that can be axially displaced by an electromechanical drive (4) from a locked to an unlocked position and vice versa, wherein the locking device (1) comprises a control member (5) that can be rotated by the electromechanical drive (4), which has a thread (11) on its side facing the locking element (6), into which control bolts (14) arranged to be transversely displaceable in the locking element (6) engage. In order to obtain a simply constructed control bolt arrangement, the invention proposes arranging only a single control bolt (14) to be transversely displaceable in the locking element (6), whose respective axial position is determined by the contour of the inner wall (17) of the control member (5). To displace the locking element (6), the first end (12) of the control bolt (14) engages in the thread flanks (16) of the thread (11), while the second end (15) is supported against the inner wall (17) of the control member (5) opposite the thread (11). In the region of the thread ends (18, 19), the control bolt (14) comes into contact with support surfaces and is force-controlled by the correspondingly designed inner wall (17) of the control member (5) in such a manner that the control member (5) executes a freewheeling motion relative to the axially spring-loaded locking element (6) if the control member continues to rotate in the corresponding direction after the locking element has reached the locked or unlocked position.
