Car seat cushion (1) consists of a foam molding (4) with a reinforcing profile (5) near its edge (6). Independent claims are included for: (a) production of the seat by mounting the profile in a mold and molding the foam component around it; and (b) a tool for carrying out the production method comprising a mold containing a mounting for the profile.
