Roller blind, particularly for vehicles, protective cover and method of assembly therefore

The blind for a motor vehicle has a casing (13) containing a reel for the blind sheet (1) mounted under a frame member of the vehicle chassis. The casing has a slot for passage of the blind, with side flanges (23) at the sides of the opening in the frame member (27). A cover for the opening (29) has pivots (33,37) to allow movement between covering and exposed positions for the slot. Claims include a method of assembly of the blind.
