Multicell, sealed lead-acid battery

The accumulator has a housing for several cells and a block cover for closing the housing with base (1) and closure (2) covers and a central degassing arrangement. Each cell has a degassing valve in its degassing opening with an outlet opening connected to the central degassing arrangement. Each cell has an associated opening (6) in the base cover and a valve body permanently connected to the edge of the opening with a sealing body.
