See the Post-Show Verdict

Moving laterally alongside his 2023 Pandemonium tour, Joji is hitting the road this summer, stopping at nearly the same cities and nearly the exact same venues. That includes Scotiabank Arena, making Toronto the second stop of a global tour. Tagging along will be underground up-and-comers Nate Sib and Corbin. Here's everything you need to know ahead of presale and whether you should Buy or Wait.

πŸ’‘How I rate shows

The factors

Here's everything pushing this presale up or down the FaceValue scale.

2023 Scotiabank show didn't sell out --

Joji's last SBA show was a far cry from a full sellout. Tickets were readily available at or below face value, and any fan that chose to Wait could have saved hundreds of dollars. Given that his upcoming tour is nearly identical to his last, we should look at his trajectory since then.

The Joji Plateau --

Let's look back at how his albums did on the US Billboard 200's:

  • Ballads 1 : Debut and peak of 3
  • Nectar : Debut and peak of 3
  • Smithereens : Debut and peak of 5
  • Piss in the Wind : Debut and peak of 5

Suffice to say, the new album hasn't moved Joji up in the ranks. What's more troubling is that this era completely lacks a smash hit to hook casual fans in. Ballads 1 had "SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK," Nectar had "Sanctuary," and Smithereens had "Glimpse of Us." The closest thing Piss in the Wind has to a hit is the rage-influenced opener "PIXELATED KISSES," a far cry from radio hit material.

Past resale history for his 2023 arena tour (which shares nearly identical markets and venues) shows low get-in prices across the board. Without a defining single to re-energize casual fans, this tour cycle looks to be relying on retention over acquisition. Put bluntly: it will be an uphill battle for Joji to sell out Scotiabank Arena.

Space for added shows -

Similar to Bruno Mars, Joji's schedule suggests a second show could be in the cards. The biggest stops on the American tour all have 2-3 days of padding around them, with 2 before Toronto, 2 after New York, 3 between Atlanta and Austin, and 2 following LA. It's not enough for any city to stretch into three nights, but perfect for slipping in an added night wherever they find a market that has the hots for Joji.

Some interesting tour gaps there...

Nearest stops in Newark and Montreal +

Toronto and Montreal make up the only two Canadian stops for Joji on his upcoming tour. For Canadian fans who aren't crossing the border to see him, these will be the ones to see him. With no Buffalo or Detroit dates, Toronto is it for the Ontario market. Expect some hurting Vancouver fans who were snubbed by the announcement to make the flight over too.

Supporting acts are niche -

Nate Sib and Corbin have both charted paths in their respective underground scenes but are unlikely to be big draws in their own right for Toronto.

A growing list of shows competing for wallets -

This is something that every summer show yet to go on sale will face: people's concert budgets are spent. June already featured concerts from: Don Toliver, ROSALÍA, Megan Moroney, James Blake, bbno$, Kesha, Lorde, MGK, Post Malone, Noah Kahan, and more. Some of those fanbases will crossover with Joji's more than others, but the point stands. It's a privileged spot to be in, as we're lucky to have so many options in this city, but fans will have to make some tough choices here.

My recommendation is to Wait. Joji's career remains at a plateau. His last show didn't sell out, and the summer is already packed with so many shows competing for people's money. Expect to save a solid chunk of cash by waiting for prices to drop.

Post-Show Verdict

Was the call right? How cheap did Joji tickets really get? I talk about all of that here, so you can see how much readers that took my advice saved.

The call I made on March 1st, 2026, before artist presale had started was Correct. This is how the sale period played out. First, a look at face value prices when tickets first went on sale in March.

🎟️

Joji β€” Scotiabank Arena Jun 19, 2026 Face value prices (fees included): GA : $174.00 Floor : $184.25 – $433.94 100s : $141.75 – $433.94 300s : $67.00 – $153.55 VIP : $406.11 – $652.93

Here's how inventory shook out after a few hours of the Amex presale.

And then the next day during after the Artist presale started.

It was clear from the get-go that Joji at Scotiabank Arena wasn't going to be an instant sellout. Though, Ticketmaster would like you to think it was going to. Here's how it looked one day later.

1 day after Artist presale

You would think from looking at that map that tickets sales were starting to accelerate. But almost two months later, Live Nation announced their Summer of Live promotion, where they offered $30 all-in tickets to hundreds of shows. Joji in Toronto was part of that list. Take a look at how much more inventory is somehow available months after the last photo.

1 month later, during the Summer of Live promotion. Every dark blue dot is a $30 ticket.

Here's a graph showing how ticket availability and get-in prices fluctuated in the weeks leading up to the show. The dotted line represents the get-in price of $67. The white line is the cheapest available ticket across Ticketmaster, StubHub, and TickPick. The grey line is the total remaining inventory on Ticketmaster.

Almost 3000 tickets still left 2 weeks before the show

And here is how low prices got on a per-section basis.

Deep savings were found across all sections except for GA.

Here are some screenshots I took the morning of the concert (6/19) at 9:27am. Front row 100s (some of the best seats in the house) for $162.25, down from $433.94 (-$271.69).

Second row of the 300s dropped to $105.75, down from $153.55 (-$47.80).

And the most expensive floor tickets dropped to $162.25, down from $433.94 (-$271.69).

In summary, here's what fans saved on Joji Toronto tickets by choosing to Wait.
