Here are the best places to gauge sentiment:\n\n * Instagram Announcement\n * TikTok Announcement\n * /r/Joji Tour Discussion Thread\n\n\n\n### Seating Map\n\nHalf standing, half seated pit for Joji\n\n### 💡**How I rate shows**\n\n * Various factors are considered, including community sentiment, time since the last show, pricing, proximity to nearby dates, and more\n * Each factor is given a positive or negative score. Positive scores swing in the direction of **Buy** , and negative scores swing towards **Wait**\n * Factors sum up to one score, which becomes the FaceValue Verdict: **Buy or Wait**\n\n\n\n* * *\n\n## The factors\n\nHere's everything pushing this presale up or down the FaceValue scale.\n\n### 2023 Scotiabank show didn't sell out --\n\nJoji's last SBA show was a far cry from a full sellout. Tickets were readily available at or below face value, and any fan that chose to **Wait** could have saved hundreds of dollars. Given that his upcoming tour is nearly identical to his last, we should look at his trajectory since then.\n\n### The Joji Plateau --\n\nLet's look back at how his albums did on the US Billboard 200's:\n\n * **Ballads 1** : Debut and peak of 3\n * **Nectar** : Debut and peak of 3\n * **Smithereens** : Debut and peak of 5\n * **Piss in the Wind** : Debut and peak of 5\n\n\n\nSuffice to say, the new album hasn't moved Joji up in the ranks. What's more troubling is that this era completely lacks a smash hit to hook casual fans in. _Ballads 1_ had \"SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK,\" _Nectar_ had \"Sanctuary,\" and _Smithereens_ had \"Glimpse of Us.\" The closest thing _Piss in the Wind_ has to a hit is the rage-influenced opener \"PIXELATED KISSES,\" a far cry from radio hit material.\n\nPast resale history for his 2023 arena tour (which shares nearly identical markets and venues) shows low get-in prices across the board. Without a defining single to re-energize casual fans, this tour cycle looks to be relying on retention over acquisition. Put bluntly: it will be an uphill battle for Joji to sell out Scotiabank Arena.\n\nOnly one date staying above $100 get-in (data from TicketData.com)\n\n### Space for added shows -\n\nSimilar to Bruno Mars, Joji's schedule suggests a second show could be in the cards. The biggest stops on the American tour all have 2-3 days of padding around them, with 2 before Toronto, 2 after New York, 3 between Atlanta and Austin, and 2 following LA. It's not enough for any city to stretch into three nights, but perfect for slipping in an added night wherever they find a market that has the hots for Joji.\n\nSome interesting tour gaps there...\n\n### Nearest stops in Newark and Montreal +\n\nToronto and Montreal make up the only two Canadian stops for Joji on his upcoming tour. For Canadian fans who aren't crossing the border to see him, these will be the ones to see him. With no Buffalo or Detroit dates, Toronto is it for the Ontario market. Expect some hurting Vancouver fans who were snubbed by the announcement to make the flight over too.\n\n### Supporting acts are niche -\n\nNate Sib and Corbin have both charted paths in their respective underground scenes but are unlikely to be big draws in their own right for Toronto.\n\n### A growing list of shows competing for wallets -\n\nThis is something that every summer show yet to go on sale will face: people's concert budgets are spent. June already featured concerts from: Don Toliver, ROSALÍA, Megan Moroney, James Blake, bbno$, Kesha, Lorde, MGK, Post Malone, Noah Kahan, and more. Some of those fanbases will crossover with Joji's more than others, but the point stands. It's a privileged spot to be in, as we're lucky to have so many options in this city, but fans will have to make some tough choices here.\n\n* * *\n\nMy recommendation is to **Wait**. Joji's career remains at a plateau. His last show didn't sell out, and the summer is already packed with so many shows competing for people's money. Expect to save a solid chunk of cash by waiting for prices to drop.",
