Chat gpt plus giving Request time out all the time

Could you please clarify a bit more when this occurs.

• Does the timeout happen only in certain older or longer conversations, or also in a completely new chat?

• Are you seeing it on the web, in the desktop/mobile app or across both?

• Which browser or app version are you using?

• Does it happen with every model or only with a particular model?

• When the timeout occurs, does retrying the message work or does that same conversation continue timing out?

• Have you tried opening one of the affected conversations in another browser or device?

Since you mentioned that only some important work chats are affected, it may also be useful to know approximately how long those conversations are and whether they contain many files or images. I know from my own experiences that this usually happens when my conversations are too long.

Small note: Since you specifically asked OpenAI to look into this, I should mention that I’m not an OpenAI employee, just another user.
