Font size bugs on the MacOS app

The option to increase font size on the macOS app does not seem to work correctly for me. When I press cmd+ or cmd-, nothing happens. When I press cmd0 it goes into a spinning wheel for 20 secs and hangs the app, then returns. Then when I press cmd+ to increase the size, it goes into spinning wheel again for 10secs and then increases the font size. And I have to do this separately for each chat. It would be nice to just increase the font size for all chats in the settings. This is especially an issue when I am using this with the larger monitor.
