Codex/ChatGPT Credits Disappeared, Usage History Missing, and Support Keeps Giving AI-Generated Loop Responses

I am posting this because I am extremely frustrated with how OpenAI is handling a serious billing issue involving purchased Codex/ChatGPT credits. This is not about promotional credits. These were paid credits purchased directly by credit card. Summary of the issue: * I purchased ChatGPT/Codex credits using my credit card. * One confirmed invoice is #78A9D6E5-0016, dated 2026-04-24, for US$68.51. * I also had credits from previous purchases before this invoice. * I was using the credits normally from the same ChatGPT account and the same Codex dashboard. * The credits were previously visible and usable. * Then, suddenly, the Codex dashboard showed 0. * The previous credit balance disappeared. * Historical transaction and usage records also appear to be missing. * There is no usage history that explains the disappearance of the remaining balance. This is not a case where I am confused about the account. I had already been using the credits normally from this exact account and this exact dashboard before they disappeared. What makes this worse is the support experience. I contacted OpenAI Support multiple times through help.openai.com. The responses keep saying that the case has been escalated to a specialist, but: * no clear ticket/case number is provided * no meaningful investigation result is shared * no explanation is given * no ledger details are provided * no restoration or refund path is offered * the responses feel like AI-generated loop responses that avoid directly addressing the billing problem The latest support response asked me to confirm that I am checking the same account used at checkout. This is extremely frustrating because the issue is not that I am checking the wrong account. The credits were already visible and usable in this same account before they suddenly disappeared. OpenAI should be able to verify this from its own internal systems: * payment records * invoice records * account logs * Codex credit ledger history * usage history * workspace/account linkage records I have already provided payment evidence and invoice information. At this point, repeatedly asking the customer to prove basic facts while not providing any transparent ledger audit is unacceptable. What I am asking OpenAI to do is straightforward: 1. Perform a manual account-level billing ledger audit. 2. Confirm the historical credit balance and usage history. 3. Explain why the dashboard now shows 0. 4. Restore the missing purchased credits or issue a refund. 5. Provide a formal case/ticket number so the issue can be tracked. This is a paid-credit billing issue, not a general troubleshooting issue. If purchased credits can disappear from the dashboard, along with usage and transaction history, and support cannot provide a clear ledger explanation, that is a serious trust problem. Has anyone else experienced purchased Codex/ChatGPT credits disappearing from the analytics dashboard with missing usage history?
