Pro subscriber locked out 4 days — server-side auth failure, support unresponsive

I’ve been unable to log into ChatGPT or Codex for 4 days on a Pro plan ($200/month). platform.openai.com works fine with the same account — the failure is specific to the chatgpt.com authentication path.
What happens:
- Go to chatgpt.com → Click Log in → Continue with Google
- Google OAuth completes successfully (email, 2FA, authorization code issued)
- Google redirects to auth.openai.com/api/accounts/callback/google
- OpenAI’s callback handler fails → redirects to /api/auth/error
What I’ve ruled out:
- Tested in Safari, Chrome, fresh Chromium profile (zero cache/cookies)
- Tested on macOS and iOS
- Tested on home network and mobile hotspot
- Tested every auth method (Google, email/password, passkey, email code)
- Tested Codex CLI --device-auth (no browser involved at all)
- All VPNs/proxies/DNS filters verified inactive
- All fail identically. platform.openai.com works every time.
Support timeline:
- May 15: Initial report
- May 16: AI triage suggests clearing cookies (already done)
- May 17: Joshua (human agent) suggests iOS-specific fixes for a cross-platform issue
- May 17: I exclude every suggestion, provide screen recording, demand engineering escalation
- May 17-19: 48+ hours silence
4 case numbers (08894351, 08926096, 08927066, 08927067). 15+ emails sent. No engineering involvement.
My theory: The “Advanced Account Security” feature rollout (May 1-4) may have left my account in an inconsistent auth state. My last successful chatgpt.com login was May 4 — the exact overlap.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any OpenAI staff able to route this to the auth/identity team?
