Codex Rate limits reset for all paid plans April 28, 2026

I think theres a much better way to do it: keep the same reset timer for everyone and give everyone say, 50% back (or more if you are feeling generous). Keeping the reset times is crucial. We plan around those things. To be fair, the whole reset time is a pretty bad anxiety-inducing system. I would much prefer if you simply increased the limit by 0.6% every hour (thus 100% every week). Then I would just adjust my plan to my work’s pace and vice versa.
