Prompt Engineering Is Dead, and Context Engineering Is Already Obsolete: Why the Future Is Automated Workflow Architecture with LLMs

Partially agree, one can name things the way they want. Seeing the date when this thing was published, way too many AI experts were still manually “optimizing" their prompts, while others were building automated pipelines to break complex tasks into simple steps to be orchestrated by code and executed by tiny LLMs… It’s it’s been a while now many are building pipelines and orchestrations to generate " decision guidelines” to serve as inputs for automated specification generators… So yes, it’s still “context engineering", the issues is the term is overused and does not cover the current layer it operates on.
