How to Change Model Within a Project (folder)

Hey all - yeah, I get why this keeps getting bumped. There was a bug tied to a missing feature flag that could hide the model selector inside Projects on the macOS app. That’s been fixed. We just tested on a Mac with the current version of the desktop app and the model picker is showing up in Projects for us. If you’re still not seeing it, it’s probably a version thing. Try updating the ChatGPT macOS app and giving it a restart. If it’s still missing after that, can you share which ChatGPT app version you’re on (ChatGPT → About) and your macOS version too? That’ll help us compare setups. And if you’re blocked in the meantime, switching models inside Projects does work on the website. Let’s see what versions you’re running.
