FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55 Certified for IMAX

Fujifilm’s first digital cine camera, the GFX ETERNA 55, has joined the list of “Filmed in IMAX” certified digital cameras. It has the tallest digital sensor currently available in the Larger and Large Format category. In Open Gate, the sensor is 43.63 mm wide x 32.71 mm tall. The image diagonal is 54.53 mm—hence the name GFX ETERNA 55. The Open Gate aspect ratio is 4:3 (1.33:1) which is very close to IMAX 1.43:1.
