Learn the Fujifilm GFX ETERNA 55’s Project Setting Menu With This Hands-On Tutorial
In one of our favorite tutorial series currently going on, Fujifilm has released the latest video (chapter 3) of its hands-on guide covering everything you need to know about the new, large-format GFX ETERNA 55 cinema camera.
We’ve covered the camera set-up and basic functions in previous videos, but this newest one takes things forward quite a bit as we move into going over pretty much everything you’d ever need to know about the camera’s “Project Setting Menu,” a crucial piece of the camera’s controls which allows shooters to adjust recording settings and make the right selections for their projects’ needs.
Fujifilm GFX ETERNA 55 Project Setting Menu
As one might imagine, when getting started with a new camera for the first time—particularly a high-end cinema camera, as is the case with the GFX ETERNA 55—you’ll really want to familiarize yourself with all of the settings and controls before you go out and shoot your first project.
As we saw in the camera set-up and basic function videos (chapters 1 and 2, respectively, in the series), there’s a lot to go over and explore with the basic functions and features of the GFX ETERNA 55. The Project Setting Menu is the logical next place to go, as this is where you’ll make many of the decisions about your recording settings, like resolution, frame rate, and image format.
The hands-on tutorial does a nice job of going through the different options, explaining why they’re there, and giving you—the eventual user—enough info to make your own decisions.
The Fujifilm GFX ETERNA 55
Ultimately, though, there are no right or wrong answers as to what the perfect project setting menu selections are, but there are many to go over simply because the GFX ETERNA 55 is indeed so powerful and versatile.
