Storm’s a-comin’

I’ve really started to fall in love with shooting black and white, I’ve been trying to shoot it more both to talk myself out of (or into?) Ricoh’s new fully monochrome point-and-shoot. I’m not sure whether doing this helps or hurts my pocketbook. I don’t shoot in low-light enough to justify the technical benefits of that camera, but the philosophical ones—only having a monochrome sensor—are harder to quantify.

In any case, yesterday was one of those days where you could just feel a rainstorm was coming through. The air was crisp and damp, primed and ready to dump. But then heading up to Mt. Lukens and looking down on the city, it was much more obvious, no feelings required.
