I haven't gotten around to the American set but if you point at a handful of items worth including, I'll do.

It is difficult to tell. There are dozens of EMD, Alco and GE diesels that looks the same to my non-American eye both in appearance and performance. 2CC could have used some late XIX-early XX century steam engines i.e. passenger steam engine somewhere between PRR D16 and Canadian U-1 or freight engine between Consolidation and Light Mikado. NARS has generic Pacific and Atlantic for passenger and Consolidation II for freight but to be honest I would prefer some real models not generic ones. I think Venezuela and Jamaica are totally absent from 2CC right now so one may give MLW M420 (it is called M424 in the set) to Venezuela and EMD GP50 to Jamaica although I could not find any info about their service except that they were delivered.
