Does this happen on the GTK3 version as well?

GTK2 is mostly offered for older systems.

Apparently not (tried the Tarball from the main site), just tried loading the pictures beforehand to restore on next session, then ran the GTK3 build and loaded the tabs as quick as I could, no crash.

And figures, I like the GTK2 build better since I get some parts of the GUI with the Raleigh theme and I love that one, besides that I use the AUR build since it already adds the shortcut and can set PM as default browser, can't remember why I avoided the GTK3 one though.

In case XWayland in combination with your hardware has a problem with XRender, you can try disabling that (restart required) by setting the preference gfx.xrender.enabled to false.

That seems to have solved my issue, not only that but it appears panning on the pictures is snappier? I think it was lagging before toggling that setting off. Thanks.

I think I might report back if it happens again but for now no issues, maybe this can be marked as solved?
