Well, the repo itself appears fine if it only includes code for a person to transform their own binary they've downloaded (I don't think much can be done about a person choosing to modify files they already downloaded), the bigger problem is that the site appears to be distributing the generated AppImages as "releases."

I don't imagine that part is allowed... if someone wants to download the official binaries first, then use a script to turn them into an AppImage themselves for personal use, that's different. Redistributing the resulting file is where this kind of thing can fall afoul of a license potentially. At least that's what I think based on my (admittedly limited) experience with this stuff.
