Ideally, we would create a simplified version, called AutoPageDark, that wouldn't pose any problems for its author. Once installed, it could be easily enabled or disabled, without pop-ups, scheduling, or any other options. It would remain active at each startup (as it is now, without having to check "Automate"). Nothing more, nothing less: it would be perfect. I saw during my research that you are the creator. Would that be feasible?

Do you ever explore any new piece of software you install, particularly its settings so that you can know in advance what it can and can't do? Notifications can be turned off completely. And the job of the extension is to change what preferred color the browser advertises to websites. It doesn't actually modify any sites and it depends on the website to actually use this information and switch to light/dark mode depending on the user's preference. This is why Swarth is also recommended, for those sites that don't do this on their own.
