Given the long time (2022 vs 2026) I'd play it safe and do incremental updates, going through intermediate versions until you reach current. Of course, only after you make a backup of your profile. There was a version in which profiles did change structurally and skipping too many updates will result in corruptions, but I don't remember if it happened before or after the release you have installed.
