VLC (Media Player Software)

ffmpeg doesn’t verify TLS by default, and i believe same goes for VLC.

VLC uses ffmpeg’s network stack, which is pretty ass. Modern players use curl backend.

At least for mac OS, it’s safe to recommend IINA since it has nice UI. For Linux, mpv/ Celluloid flatpak.
