Was it even worth it to care about privacy?

yeah that’s kind of a problem with a lot of Millennials and Zoomers in particular. We all grew up in golden age of the social media era of the internet where we were taught all that paranoia around privacy was pointless. You’re doing all the right stuff trying to wipe old projects off the internet that don’t represent the person you’ve become since highschool. I think a larger thing is we as a society need to accept that everyone says and does stupid things in highschool, since that’s a fact of growing up. We need to have a culture where the threat of this stuff getting leaked becomes a non issue and the shame is put on someone trying to tattle on someone else for being a messed up teenager.
