Enhancing the Reddit browsing experience privately and securely?

My strategy with Reddit is to use RSS on all the subreddits. And only open up pages that I think I might want to read more about or potentially even comment upon. Although of late, sometimes the RSS feeds don’t appear reliable. Or my RSS provider gets blocked. Dunno.
