Man shot, killed in South Chicago

A man was found fatally shot Saturday in South Chicago.

The man, age unknown, was discovered about 11:45 a.m. in the 8000 block of South Marquette Avenue with gunshot wounds to the side and chest, Chicago police said.

He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests were reported.
