Man fatally shot in West Englewood, police say

A man was shot and killed in West Englewood Saturday night, according to Chicago police.

The man, 37, was in the 5700 block of South Damen Avenue around 10:40 p.m. when someone fired shots, striking him in the arm and buttocks, police said in a statement.

He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center and pronounced dead, police said. No arrests were reported.
