Man found fatally shot in South Deering

A man was fatally shot in South Deering Thursday afternoon, according to Chicago police.

The man, 29, was found shot in the face and shoulder inside a residence in the 9900 South Paxton Avenue at 3:31 p.m., police said.

No one is in custody and no further information was released as of Thursday night.
