When Tony got the alert that his plane hadn’t landed, he wasn’t really surprised. FRIDAY as instructed to alert him of the plane’s status every hour. It had only been an hour since it had taken off, and it should be another hour until it lands. What did catch his attention though, was the fact that it had apparently crashed.
His plane.
It crashed.
Fuck.
The contents of the plane were a mere portion of his belongings. He had more things to take with him, so that part didn’t annoy him as much as the other.
Apparently, the kid didn’t get the cue– Peter– that he should leave the hero-ing to the adults, and was on the scene. The fucking idiot.
He’s gotta get to the crash site.
That’s what something inside him says, at least. It’s spoken to him before. Many times, actually.
When he didn’t listen… well… that never went well.
Ever.
So he calls a suit over, pushing down the panic in his throat as he shakily engages the thrusters.
What if something’s wrong with Peter? He would never forgive himself if something happened to Peter.
The kid might be in trouble.
His kid might be in trouble.
