Survey: The Legendary 1000

Over the last year, we've had lively surveys and discussion over the best films of the decade, as well as the NYT best of the 21st century - - so it just seems logical to put it all together for a Movie Thread All-Time Legendary 1000 Film List.

Once again, it seems prudent to implement a weighted system - this time, participants will be asked a little more -

• to list their personal favorite 100 theatrical films of all time.

The counting will be as follows: 100 points for the #1 choice, 99 points for the #2 spot, 98 for #3, etc. down the line.

If indicated that there's no particular order, each selection will be awarded 7 points.

If you'd like to list some Honorable Mentions past 100 selections, please do so -each title past the 100th will be awarded 1 point. Please, just try not to list 40,000 films!

Don't have an end date in mind, so there's plenty of chances to change titles and lists.

Of course, any comments, thoughts, suggestions, questions or any discourse regarding Cinema, rankings in general or anything else are encouraged and appreciated.
