  "textContent": "Over the last year, we've had lively surveys and discussion over the best films of the decade, as well as the NYT best of the 21st century - -\nso it just seems logical to put it all together for a Movie Thread All-Time Legendary 1000 Film List.\n\nOnce again, it seems prudent to implement a weighted system - this time, participants will be asked a little more -\n\n- to list their personal favorite 100 theatrical films of all time.\n\nThe counting will be as follows:\n100 points for the #1 choice, 99 points for the #2 spot, 98 for #3, etc. down the line.\n\nIf indicated that there's no particular order, each selection will be awarded 7 points.\n\nIf you'd like to list some Honorable Mentions past 100 selections, please do so -each title past the 100th will be awarded 1 point.\nPlease, just try not to list 40,000 films!\n\nDon't have an end date in mind, so there's plenty of chances to change titles and lists.\n\nOf course, any comments, thoughts, suggestions, questions or any discourse regarding Cinema, rankings in general or anything else are encouraged and appreciated.\n\nAs always... thank you to everyone and cheers!\n\nStarting off (this order will almost definitely be subject to change in tcoming days):\n\n1.
