Back to Work for My SoDu Neighbors!

Did you miss me?

This past week, I took Catherine and the kids to New Smyrna Beach in Florida. We climbed a lighthouse, played on the beach, jumped in the pool, checked out the astronaut exhibit at the Orlando Science Center, connected in-person with Nerdspresso's own Jeff Stanford, and visited with my mother and brother.

On Friday, we ate waffles on the beach. Then I drove home on I-95 - and ran into a particularly annoying traffic snarl near Savannah, which led to my taking a detour on side roads until we reached Ridgeland in South Carolina. After that, it was pretty smooth sailing back to the Bull City.

This morning, we were on our new routine as I took Athena to Mebane for a lacrosse game with the Durham Warbirds. Our "Bug" played without fear and without much regard for bigger players.

Happy to be back!
