Alex Scott, Lionesses stars and David Beckham’s backing set tone for SHEIN Women’s Football Awards
Gabby Logan will help hosts the ceremony alongside Jamie Carragher
TV favourite Alex Scott is leading a star-packed shortlist as the biggest names in women’s football prepare to descend on a glamour-filled awards night next month.
A host of England women’s national football team heroes are also in the running at the SHEIN Women’s Football Awards, which return on May 7 and promise a mix of elite sport and showbiz sparkle.
Global fashion giant SHEIN is back as headline partner, continuing its support of the fast-growing event – and will play a key role in styling stars and grassroots players alike for the big night.
The ceremony will be hosted by Gabby Logan alongside Jamie Carragher, with David Beckham also backing the awards as the women’s game continues its rapid rise.
Beckham said: ‘It’s been incredible to see the growth of the women’s game over the years and we love cheering on the Lionesses in our house.
‘These awards celebrate the very best in the game both on and off the pitch.’
Now the biggest celebration of its kind in Europe, the Women’s Football Awards will bring together top players, celebrity fans and industry figures to honour those driving the sport forward.
