🏗️Clinton Street Downtown Revitalization Initiative Projects Finalized
$9.7 million in state funds, along with millions more in private investment, are officially designated for the Clinton Street area in Binghamton from the Downtown Revitalization Initiative awarded in 2025 (Press & Sun).
This will focus on improving the streetscape, building hundreds of new housing units, expanding the Boys and Girls Club, creating a youth learning center, developing industrial space, and more (WBNG).
Clinton Street features many unutilized and empty lots, and many in the business community are optimistic about the corridor and the future for Binghamton's First Ward as a result of this investment (WBNG).
🐻🏒Black Bears Win Championship for Three-Peat
The Binghamton Black Bears pulled off a 3rd straight Federal Prospects Hockey League victory, celebrating with a first-ever parade in Downtown Binghamton (WBNG).
Securing their 3-1 victory over the Pee Dee IceCats last weekend, they became the first-ever FPHL franchise to secure a three-peat (WBNG).
