Mercedes-benz Eqb Class recall (2025041)

Vehicles affected: MERCEDES-BENZ EQB CLASS (2022, 2023) Summary: This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2025-527. Issue: On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit in the high-voltage battery can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the recall repairs are completed. Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the battery management system software.
