Mercedes-benz Eqb Class recall (2025527)

Vehicles affected: MERCEDES-BENZ EQB CLASS (2022, 2023) Summary: Issue: On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2025-041. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair. Safety Risk: A short circuit in the high-voltage battery can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the recall repairs are completed. Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the battery management system software.
