Vehicles affected: RIVIAN R1T, R1S (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) Summary: Issue: On certain vehicles, the driver and/or front passenger seat belt(s) may not have been installed properly. As a result, the seat belt(s) could loosen or detach in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that detaches in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Rivian will notify owners by email and advise you to take your vehicle to a Rivian service center to inspect and, if necessary, secure the front seat belts.
