Vinfast Vf 8 recall (2025517)

Vehicles affected: VINFAST VF 8 (2023, 2024, 2025) Summary: Issue: Under certain conditions, the lane keeping assist (LKA) feature of the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) may not work properly. As a result, the steering wheel could move unexpectedly and/or the steering wheel movements may be difficult to override. Safety Risk: An advanced driver assistance system that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of a crash if the driver doesn't intervene. Corrective Actions: VinFast reminds that LKA is only an ADAS feature, and that the driver must pay attention and be ready to take control at all times when the feature is engaged. VinFast will notify owners by email and advise you to take your vehicle to a VinFast authorized service center to update the ADAS software.
