While some states are seeing sharp increases in auto loan delinquencies, others are showing stability. Here are the states with the smallest growth in auto loan delinquencies from Q3 to Q4 2024, according to WalletHub.
Arkansas saw the smallest increase in auto loan delinquency

Auto loan delinquencies in Arkansas rose by just 2.02% in Q4 2024. The state had one of the most stable transitions between quarters, despite an overall delinquency rate of 18.65%.
New Jersey experiences minimal rise in delinquencies

Delinquency rates in New Jersey rose only 2.06% quarter-over-quarter. The state’s overall delinquency rate stands at 17.94%, which remains relatively moderate.
Wyoming keeps auto loan delinquencies in check

With only a 2.15% increase from Q3 to Q4 2024, Wyoming saw one of the lowest upticks in delinquencies. The overall rate is 14.34%.
Utah borrowers continue to pay on time
