"textContent": "## Fib\n\nfluctuations**** at night, and waves optimistic as you grin.\n\nSo good to feel on this riverbed.\n\nSay, a boat not gone home,\n\nwe’re nearly stranded, and the galloping bubbles.\n\nThe lush sits splayed in this yearning.\n\nYou catch an umbrella spreading a full-on spectral shadow.\n\nPerhaps a duff chaser is all about every glib narrative\n\nwe now muttering.\n\nAll these subjects, still taught in a selected classroom.\n\nBut in another, someone planning, how to spend time\n\nwith a fever of Salvador Dali.\n\nI at times think of him, perhaps her,\n\nwhosoever planning, when a very fine-threaded river\n\nwoven in local mudwaters trying hard. To be dried up.\n\nBefore eaten by the clubhouses.\n\nNot of our interest, really – I am with you you know.\n\nTill this earth saying it has enough.\n\nUntil it asking, really?\n\n* * *\n\n### Cue\n\nin a fistful of sands, one day you said,\n\nthere’s a crazy finesse\n\nan old song of departure, quite a nightwalk\n\nalong a melodious arc, the other day you said\n\ndull reminiscence, and a motherless starlet\n\nleaking through the breastfeeding galaxy –\n\nmaking sense to you\n\nthis evening, you suddenly giving a call,\n\nme still in the office\n\na storm, tacky in nature, not to leave us\n\nso easily, you said, a local channel said\n\nback home, our sepia cat waiting\n\nat a corner, sure about its three lives.\n\nUpon our dinner table. Around our backyard.\n\nOn my lap.\n\n* * *\n\n### Xyz\n\nflipside open,\n\nand the kingdom going on.\n\nThe more you walk, the more you feel loved.\n\nFallen teeth of a deity, shown like those accepted slangs.\n\nOur old baby fathers – speak out, grandpa, speak more of\n\nhow love echoing your poetries, decorated in vivid\n\nclassmate colours. Love of this tongue, used as if\n\nan architect of dinosaur.\n\nFrom all sides, see, frisky dolls suddenly winning\n\nthe magic of life. You keep wondering, how every colour\n\nseems a heart fragment. And we all just too colourblind\n\nafter every solitude partplaying on stage.\n\nYou wonder, how this sky turns the last fabric we still\n\ntrying to be draped in.\n\n* * *\n\n _Jayanta Bhaumik is from Kolkata, India, from the field of Mental Health & Counselling.
