"textContent": "My husband and I love to travel and, in 2023, we decided to take a trip backpacking through the Northeastern United States and Canada. We started by flying to New York City, and ended up in Boston by way of Montréal, upstate New York, and Vermont.\n\nCW: rail foamer shots incoming.\n\nAtlanta -> New York City\n\nFlying into Newark Liberty International Airport\n\nFlying over Newark into Newark Liberty International Airport. Fortunately, we were able to catch a Greyhound bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal, which took about 9 hours to get us to Gare d'autocars du Montréal. We had two wonderful days to explore the city full-time.\n\nBerri-UQAM station in Montréal\n\nBerri-UQAM station in Montréal. In Boston, we stayed with friends, and honestly were pretty exhausted the whole time. Still, we rode some neat trains and ate some great food.\n\nRustic view of a small Vermont town\n\nVermont might be the most beautiful state.\n\nSelfie of Aly + husband on the Greyhound bus\n\nSelfie with my husband on our 8-hour Greyhound to Boston.\n\nBoston red line subway train bound for Alewife\n\nCatching a red line train bound for Alewife.\n\nFoggy day in Downtown Boston\n\nBeautiful, foggy, and rustic view of Downtown Boston.\n\nA chicken parmesan sandwich from Bricco's in the Boston Library\n\nA great sandwich from Bricco Salumeria & Pasta Shop, enjoyed in the Boston Public Library.\n\n---\n\nBoston -> Atlanta\n\nUltimately, we flew back to Atlanta right on my birthday, over a week after flying out.
