Number one: Halsbandsittich Psittacula krameri

• Black-pink ribbon up to the neck (male).
• The females are monochrome green.
• Around the Rhine from Düsseldorf to Speyer and in Heidelberg
• Origin: South Asia
• has been breeding in Germany since 1969
• Population in Germany: approx. 25,000
• Body length*: approx. 40 cm
• Weight: approx. 130 g
• Life expectancy at liberty up to 20 years
• Nutrition: buds and flowers, fruits, seeds and grains
