Nantgarw thief found guilty of stealing from Co-operative

Liam O’Shea, 37, of Ty'r Waun in Nantgarw, has been found guilty at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court of stealing alcohol from the Co-operative store in Taff’s Well and ordered to pay a fine of £230. The court heard that he walked out of the shop with about £30 worth of alcohol on 19 December 2025.
