It premiered on YouTube at 5pm British Summertime September 21st 2023.\n\n<iframe src=\"https://www.youtube.com/embed/U6s2pdxebSo?si=7X3eRhmSXLUnlGr5\" title=\"TypeScript Origins documentary\" frameBorder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowFullScreen></iframe>\n\nI had the good fortune to be involved in the making of the documentary. In part this was thanks to my work on Definitely Typed.
