Making its surprise debut during Paris Fashion Week, the first glimpse of the upcoming unisex collaboration arrived on the Spring/Summer 2027 runway for ‘COMUNÍON’, converting UGG’s familiar comfort codes into something far more rebellious and provocative. Known for his distinct creative lens and a sensitive approach to identity and craftsmanship, Chavarria approached the collaboration playing with opposites – softness and strength. The collection takes UGG’s instantly recognisable warmth and places it alongside the toughness and grit of biker culture, leather references and modern American style. “This is my love letter to the outlaw in you,” Chavarria said, describing the collection as “fierce and friendly” and combining the “archival influence of leather culture” with “the warmth and intimacy that only UGG can provide.” The three unveiled silhouettes each offered a different interpretation of that contrast.
