★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad Bunny celebrated the spirit of Puerto Rico in London for his ‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS’ world tour on 27 June. Held at Tottenham Hotspurs stadium, his weekend of sold-out shows were the hottest ticket in the city and a landmark moment for Latin music. For the first time ever, a Puerto Rican artist headlined a stadium in the UK. It’s only right that London’s Latino community showed up bearing flags and reciting every lyric. “There are many of us Latinos across the world. Every place I go, I see the flags which fill me with pride and it moves me because I know those flags represent sacrifice,” Bad Bunny told the crowd in his native tongue. Admirably, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, aka Bad Bunny, doesn’t care if you don’t understand Spanish because chances are most of the crowd were already translating it for you.
