Amidst the ongoing FIFA World Cup fanfare, Mercedes-Benz and KidSuper have turned football nostalgia into a fashion fantasy, bringing together seven legendary football nations, iconic cars and Colm Dillane’s unmistakable storytelling approach for a new limited-edition collaboration. Premiered in Miami, the project marked KidSuper’s first major collection show outside Paris (a good choice to avoid the current heatwave), transforming the worlds of automotive heritage and football culture into one colourful celebration of craftsmanship, identity and competition. The collaboration arrives during a landmark year for Mercedes-Benz, which is celebrating 140 years of automotive innovation, and draws inspiration from the nations that have left an indelible mark on football history. Brazil, Uruguay, Germany, Argentina, France, England and Spain each became the starting point for a creative pairing between a historic Mercedes-Benz vehicle and a bespoke KidSuper piece.
