"textContent": "Etro converted its Milan Fashion Week space into a bustling, archive-draped train platform to send off its Spring/Summer 2027 menswear collection. Titled ‘Extraordinary Journeys,’ the runway functioned as a direct departure point for a new generation of global travellers, pulling inspiration from ancient trade routes, nomadic culture and the house’s permanent obsession with the spirit of discovery. Photographer Santiago Ramos goes backstage for Schön!, tracking the live atmosphere and intense colour play defining this latest expedition. Surrounded by piles of vintage luggage and the distinct promise of the unknown, the models marched out like modern nomads who construct their outfits entirely by instinct. A gorgeous, high-energy explosion of colours, patterns and rich textures collided with joyful spontaneity across the floor. Silk shirts and unstructured tailored jackets arrive heavily layered with archive foulard prints, clashing beautifully against bold madras checks, intricate embroidered details and printed suede outerwear. The house’s signature Paisley motif makes a massive, constantly evolving comeback, woven directly into stripes, checks and sharp graphic layouts across relaxed tailoring, fine knitwear and travel accessories.
