  "textContent": "Tod’s took over the architectural grounds of Villa Necchi Campiglio to present its Spring/Summer 2027 menswear collection, staging an authentic portrait of Italian leisure amidst a mid-summer Milanese heatwave. Photographer Santiago Ramos goes backstage for Schön!, capturing the refined attitude of the latest showcase. Creative Director Matteo Tamburini titled the presentation ‘The Italian Wardrobe,’ drawing his core creative energy from ‘Viaggio in Italia,’ the seminal 1984 photographic essay by Luigi Ghirri. Mirroring Ghirri’s raw, anti-sentimental perspective on the domestic landscape, the designer chose to focus entirely on an uncomplicated relationship with high-quality, functional objects. The technical centrepiece of the ready-to-wear lineup is the Pashmy project, a specialised leather curation that pays direct tribute to the extraordinary softness of pashmina. Tamburini uses this ultra-lightweight material to spin weightless texture into timeless staples, including the button-up Solferino shirt, the patch-pocketed Castello blazer jacket and the relaxed Brera bomber blouson. Fabrications across the wider range embrace a weathered, organic charm, cutting unstructured safari jackets, field coats and leisure shirts from crêpe linen, satin linen and premium linen-silk blends.
